Brandy's obituary

Brandy Quinn Layton, 52, of Alexander City AL, passed away surrounded by love on October 13, 2025.

Brandy was born on March 3, 1973 to Patricia Henson and Randy Quinn, and was also lovingly raised by Roland Henson and Gayle Quinn. Brandy married Paul Layton, and together they built a beautiful life centered around faith and family. She was happiest when she was with loved ones, laughing and creating memories to last a lifetime.

Brandy is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Amanda Keene and Andrew Layton; her parents, Patricia Henson, Randy Quinn, and Gayle Quinn; uncle Herman Quinn (Vickie); and aunt Donna Pond, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roland Henson; grandmothers; Dorthy Russel and Edna Quinn; aunts, Beverly Quinn, Christine Cox, and Norma Funderburg; uncles, Bobby Pond, Buddy Pond, and Johnny Pond; mother-in-law, Ruby Layton; and brothers-in-law, Lee Layton and Jeff Layton. Her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is reunited in Heaven with those who went before her.

Brandy's faith, strength, and laughter will be remembered always, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 6321 Coosa County Road 49, Goodwater, Alabama 35072, on Saturday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund in Brandy’s memory.
