Our hearts go out to all of Brandon’s family over this great loss. My husband and I only knew Brandon through his Grandparents, Michelle & Vernon Sculthorpe, our very good friends. We were with them the day they received the news of Brandon’s cancer and have followed him through his entire journey. We have a strong spiritual relationship with this amazing young man. His strength, determination and positive attitude were a testament to this young man’s view on life. Being able to support Michelle & Vern was one of our biggest priorities. We took it very hard when Brandon passed as we had prayed everyday for a cure. Brandon, you are free of any more pain you may have experienced. You are now in another world where you will have peace. You are truly a hero in our eyes. Bless you young man.

The Reed Family was new to our Marina Drive neighborhood, but fit right in! Brandon had an infectious smile while fishing our docks or playing front yard basketball …and always a positive vibe! He had an amazing support system and group of friends for sure. Sending love to you all during this time and just know the Marina Drive families are here forever and always ❤️.

We are so blessed to have known Brandon. Such a kind, thoughtful, caring & fun boy… he brought so much love, fun & energy to our community. We have prayed and will continue to pray for Devon, Adam & Ella. Gods grace & love upon you.
We loved when the kids would stop by and visit Chica, we loved to yell down to them from our balcony while skateboarding, playing laser tag, or fishing. But quite possibly our favorite of all memories was the day Brandon was fishing on the docks with a stick and had a cooler full of many large Sheepshead. When we asked him why he was fishing with a stick his reply was “it’s too easy with a pole, I needed more of a challenge”.
Fish on, Brandon, your memory will forever live on! xoxo
