Brandon's obituary
Brandon “Bebe” Magee, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, grandson, departed this life leaving behind a legacy marked by love, strength, and joy. His presence lit up every space he entered, and the world was truly a better place because he shined his light on it. A native of Bogalusa, he made his home in Baton Rouge where he and his wife built a life and a business together.
Brandon was known not only for his athletic talent and achievements but also for his unmatched work ethic and unforgettable sense of humor. He lived with passion, dedication, and an unshakeable commitment to his family. Whether on the court or off, Brandon inspired those around him with his drive, heart, and laughter.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Stephanie M. Elwood Magee, and his five beautiful children: Khloe Magee, Madison Magee, Leonessa Klier, Ezequiel Elwood, and Brandon Zaire Magee. His legacy lives on through them—each carrying a part of his light forward.
Brandon also leaves behind a host of beautiful and bright nieces and nephews as well as a strong team of aunts and uncles; his proud parents, Stephanie Smith and Marvin Magee; his beloved grandmother, Bessie Brumfield; and his siblings: Marvin Dillon (Dericka Marshall- Dillon), Sharde Dillon-Bridges (Stephon Bridges), Tramarcus Levi, Cameron Wallace, and Julius Kennedy each of whom he held close to his heart.
Welcomed into Heaven by those who went before him, including grandfather Luther Charles Magee, Pauline B. Magee, Uncle Roderick Magee, grandfather Johnny Brumfield and Gerald Simmons and cousins and friends LaTodrain Dillon and Edderick Carde Penton.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
