Brad's obituary
Bradwin A. Duffney, Sr., affectionately known as “Brad”, 72, of Saratoga Springs, passed away on November 6, 2025. Born on August 30,1953 to Francis Duffney and Gertrude (Bennett) Duffney, he spent his life in the Saratoga Springs area.
Brad spent many years working as a tradesman where he was known for taking on a wide range of construction and repair work. He loved to build, fix, and take on projects of all kinds. He enjoyed working with his hands and often continued building and fixing things in his personal time. To him, building wasn’t just a job; it was a passion. It was how he showed love, pride, and purpose. He found joy in the challenge of a new project.
Brad experienced many challenges throughout his life, and his relationships were shaped by those complexities. His family recognizes his place in their lives and the history they shared. His passing marks the closing of a difficult but important chapter for those connected to him.
Brad was predeceased by his daughter, Annette (Duffney) Bernash. He is survived by his sons, Bradwin Duffney, Jr., Brian Duffney, Daryl Duffney, and Derek Duffney. He also leaves behind numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The generations connected to him stand as the ongoing legacy of his life.
Services will be held privately by the family and close friends.
