My deepest condolences to Brad’s family and friends. His kindness and friendship will be remembered always. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
To my dear friend, Bradley Burland,
You were a kindred spirit in every sense as someone who truly got it. Whether it was the thrill of classic MGs, the quiet joy of caring for animals, or the deeper things life sent our way, you met it all with understanding and heart.
Your MGB was a rolling emblem of your enthusiasm, and when you brought home that MGC/GT, your excitement was contagious. We shared plans, plenty of laughs, and countless late-night talks about getting her purring again once your new “Garage Mahal” was up and running and us tackling those crankshaft bearings together as a team.
Beyond the cars, you had a tender, genuine love for animals, especially that remarkable cat who adored you as much as you did her. That bond always touched me as it revealed the gentle, caring man you were behind the grease and wrenches.
I will always be grateful for your sharp legal mind and the advice you offered so freely over the years, always spot on, always generous, and never making me feel like a bother. Being invited to your daughter’s wedding was a true honor, giving me more of a glimpse into the pride, love, and quiet strength that defined you as a father and friend.
Brad, the world feels a little dimmer without you. Thank you for every shared mile, every well timed bit of wisdom, and every moment of friendship. You will live on in my memories in winding roads, loyal pets, family celebrations, and – as the soul of a kindred spirit who just made everything better.
Rest in peace, my friend. Until we meet again ~ S
