I'll never get over losing Brad, a trusted friend and advisor. I will never remove his magnetic 2023 calendar with his picture on it from my refrigerator. I see it every day and inevitably exclaim out loud "damn it Brad!".

Brad gave me a magnetic calendar with his picture on it which I've had on my refrigerator ever since. It reminds me how much I miss him every day.Β

Recently, my family reminisced about funny memories from trips we've taken together over the years. Brad joined us on some of the adventures and, unsurprisingly, played a role in the more comical moments. Many fun stories were shared that evening! One of my favorites involved my brother Tom reenacting Brad climbing up the poop chute of an Irish castle yelling with genuine curiosity, "What IS this?!! What IS this!?!?" We were all falling off of our chairs laughing! It was so nice to share a laugh about Brad's zest for life - he was always up for anything - even if it involved climbing up a poop chute!Β

Thinking about the time we hosted a birthday party for Brad - it was the BRB Party - everyone had to bring a bottle of bourbon to share...we had tastings and food pairings to go with each, but the most epic part of the night was the BRB Trivia, where you could earn BRB bucks, distributed by Brad. At the end of the trivia, people could purchase "BRB Products" in various categories from Formal Wear (Pocket Squares) to BRB Intimates (tighty whities) to housewares (dust pans), etc that all had Brad's face on them. They were wrapped so no one knew what was on them until they all started opening gifts. Of course, it was hilarious and so much fun to celebrate the guy with the best smile and best laugh around (and could take a good joke at his own expense). I miss sitting next to him at family functions and providing side commentary as we both loudly laughed. His eyes sparkled when he was really laughing hard and his head tilted back....the best. Happy 42 Brad-o - you are still greatly loved and greatly missed!Β

Brad was born in Singapore on January 9, 1982. Today he would be 42 years old.Β
As a kid he liked swimming, fishing, MC Hammer, and doing the kinds of outdoor activities that get you stung by bees (exploring, poking things with sticks, etc).Β
As a grown up, he liked traveling to places with white sand beaches and turquoise water, jumping off of high things, listening to music (Mustard on that beat), forcing others to listen to his music (Mayo on that beat), and βpoking the bearβ (if you ever got sucked into an argument with Brad about something fairly inconsequential, and lost an hour or more of time in the process, you know what Iβm talking about).
He adored animals, insisted on making boxed meals exactly according to the printed instructions, and getting together with friends and family.
I miss all these things about him today and every day. Sending love to you all as we miss him together.
