Brad was my son’s QB coach at Colleyville Heritage. Brad came up to OU to watch Cody play in the spring game. What a great guy! He will be missed.
I am very sorry for your loss, Leslie! My most heartfelt prayers go out to you and your children and your extended family! ❤️🙏

I was blessed to be coached by Coach Boyd at Midway High School. Coach Boyd was always there for me if I ever needed to talk about anything outside of football and I will forever be grateful for that. Coach Boyd was also a reason I decided to commit to Hardin-Simmons to play college football and it was the best decision I made. Thank you Coach Boyd for everything!! LOVE YOU COACH ❤️🕊️

I coached and coached with Brad. When I coached with Brad I was always invited to his house after games with the other GA’s. We would hang out & watch college games and talk about our game. Those were some of the best memories I have. Toward the end of the night (Brad lived next to a ranch) and one of the guys would get on an unbroken horse and try to ride it. Before I got to HSU I was not in a good place mentally, nor was I after I left HSU. But, while I was there Brad was a big part of why I was in a good place. He was an easy going, easy to talk to & a great friend to just hang out. Between the 2 of us we didn’t talk too much (he & I are not big talkers) but I enjoyed our times together. He will be missed.
The Gordon’s, Polk’s along with Gordon Photography are praying for the Boyd family at this time. 🙏🙏
