Boyd's obituary

Boyd Lynn Gerber, a devoted family member and lover of the outdoors, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Murray, Utah. Born on December 10, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Boyd lived a life filled with adventure, service, and deep connections with those he loved.
Boyd found great joy in nature and spent countless hours camping, fishing, and tying flies. His passion for the outdoors was matched by his artistic talent in painting, capturing the beauty of the world around him. Whether exploring the wilderness or creating art, Boyd embraced life with enthusiasm and appreciation for the simple pleasures.
A person of strong faith, Boyd honorably served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany. Throughout his life, he held many church callings and found particular fulfillment in working with the Scouts, guiding young people with wisdom and encouragement.
Above all else, Boyd cherished his family. He found immense happiness in spending time with his grandchildren and valued every moment shared with loved ones. His warmth and dedication to family will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Boyd is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Gerber; son, James Gerber; siblings Teresa Gerber, Colleen Gerber, Randy Gerber, and Lanny Gerber. They were preceded in death by their parents, Conrad and Remore Gerber, as well as their brother Kenny Gerber.
