Boya Zhang

December 9, 2008 - November 4, 2024

On November 4th, Boya Zhang passed away at the age of 16 in Reno, Nevada. He was a sophomore in high school before certain situations arose.

Boya was born in Seattle, Washington to David and Selina Zhang on December 9, 2008, and was a very talented and smart boy growing up. He did very well academically in school and was also athletic in the sports he did. He later on moved to Reno, Nevada to pursue a better education.

He spent much of his time studying and being an active member of his school community as well as doing sports. He was sweet and kind, he would always help his siblings out when they had difficult dilemmas. He had achieved a lot in his time in school and made many friends in the schools he had attended.

Boya was predeceased by his grandmother, Mengyao Huang

He is survived by his parents, David Zhang, Selina Zhang; his siblings, Henry Zhang, Lily Zhang; his grandparents, Lanfeng Wang, Hongyi Zhang, Yitian Wu
