I met Boris 28 years ago during a huge project at CST.  We were behind schedule & everyone was stressed.  Boris arrived with his calm demeanor & made it easier to survive the project.  Over the next 20 years, Boris was a vital part of CST IT and my growth in IT as he was the best mentor anyone can have; I am where I am today and as successful because of my experience working with Boris.  

More than being a colleague, Boris emphasized friendship first.  Even when he became Manager, we would spend 5 mins chatting about work priorities, then 15-20 minutes about personal things.  He treated everyone as friends first, work colleague 2nd.  I miss the days we got excited chatting about upcoming new Palm Pilot with its pen and then Blackberry's!!

Boris & I matured together professionally, and more importantly as close friends.  He'll be forever with me  and many others he's touched.
