Boris's obituary

Boris Borisovich Fuks, MD, PhD, Professor, was born Oct 18 1926 and passed away Aug 1st 2025.

Boris Borisovich was a renowned immunologist and biotechnologist; prolific inventor, thinker, author and poet. He became a Doctor of Medical Sciences (1958), a Full Professor (1962), and an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1994). Boris authored and co-authored over 350 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, 10+ scientific and philosophical essays and manuscripts, and a book of poetry.  A fierce intellectual and indefatigable thinker, he continued working on developing his scientific ideas until 5 days before his death, at the age of almost 99. 

Boris Borisovich is survived by his son, Alexander Borisovich Konstantinov, born in 1951, who is a computational physicist residing in the USA.

His granddaughter, Elena Alexandrovna, born in 1975, works in the field of artificial intelligence and also resides in the USA.
