Bonnie Schroeder, born on January 7, 1945, passed away on March 26, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Bonnie is survived by her children, Lonna Goessling and Kelly Schroeder, along with her grandchildren, Alisha Backes, Tyler Alford, and Amanda Wray. Her loving husband, Larry Schroeder, predeceased her.

In 1962, Bonnie married Larry Schroeder and they welcomed to their family Lonna in 1965 and Kelly 1967. Their family further expanded with the arrival of grandchildren Alisha and Amanda in 1987 and Tyler in 1991. Bonnie's household was always a place of warmth and love, cherishing every family member and their mutual affection was evident in their every interaction.

Bonnie was a dedicated and hardworking individual who graduated from Sutherlin High School in 1963 and went on to have a successful career. Her journey began at Douglas National Bank in 1963 and continued at the US Bank in 1970. Bonnie's entrepreneurial spirit surfaced in 1986 when she and her husband Larry opened and operated Package Depot and again in 2000 with Granny's Mini Hut, which she operated until her retirement in 2015.

Bonnie was not just a hard worker but also a woman of many talents. She was an incredible artist, an amazing quilter, and the heart and soul of Granny's Mini Hut. Her delicious culinary creations brought joy to countless customers, and her handcrafted quilts warmed many homes. She lived by the motto, "Life's uncertain, eat dessert first," reminding us all to find joy in the small moments.

Her legacy of politeness, hard work, friendliness, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her. Bonnie's love for her family was matched only by the love she had for her Dachshund, Zoe, who misses her dearly. Bonnie Schroeder was a remarkable woman whose radiant soul, passion for life, and devotion to her family will forever be remembered.
