Bonnie was my mother's cousin. I remember when she and her mom, (my great Aunt Burnieta )and Bonnie's daughters would come to visit when I was a kid. I remember visiting her as well. We live so far apart that we didn't see each other in person very often, but Bonnie stayed in touch. She used to video call me at least once a week to check on us. I am really going to miss those calls. Bonnie had a kind, loving heart. She cared about her family. She made a special trip to take her mom to visit family, because she knew how important family was to her . Her mom passed not long after that trip. I remember having them come to my apt while they were visiting us in M Mobile Alabama ,and my friend and I carried Aunt Burneita up the stairs in her wheelchair so she could rest before we went to dinner. They all rested so they could make the drive ahead of them later that night.  We carried her back down those stairs in the wheelchair, too She said they talked about that all the way home. They always checked on my little boy, Braxton, and me.  They formed a bond with him. I'm going to miss them both very much  RIP Bonnie. Braxton and I will never forget you.
