It is an understatement to say that we appreciate the donations and assistance provided by all those who love Bonni. Your support has been an absolute blessing as we work to navigate a time of year that has always been so full of Bonni’s raucous joy.

For those who have been offering to help with the Celebration of Life: Thank you! 

We so very much want this gathering to be a reflection of her generous spirit, and I am glad to have gotten such boisterous outreach. I am finalizing things for next week and wanted everyone to know how they can lend a hand with food and supplies.

Please review the information below and let me know how you are able to lend a hand.
 
We are planning for approximately 50 guests, and your support means the world to us.

For Pot Luck Food contributions:

Once I have received some volunteers for food items, I will share a sign up sheet to allow others to know what gaps can be filled in.
 

Important Details:

• Drop-Off Location: Knisley Hall (Wormleysburg Borough Hall)
• Drop-Off Times: Friday by 6:30 PM Saturday before 11:00 AM
• Hot Foods: Please bring them in a crockpot or warmer, as we will not have access to ovens.
• Communication: Please let us know when you plan to drop off your items so we can coordinate smoothly.
 
Suggested Items:
• Main Dishes: Pasta, casseroles, pulled pork, meatballs
• Sides: Salads (green, pasta, potato), baked beans, rolls
• Appetizers: Veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese & crackers
• Desserts: Cookies, brownies, cupcakes (Bonni LOVED Chocolate and Peanutbutter 😉)
• Drinks: Bottled water, soda, iced tea
 
For those who want to help set up/tear down/keep things tidy:
 

Important Details:

• We will have access to Knisley Hall on Friday 12/12 and Saturday 12/13 from 9am – 7pm.
• We want to have staging of spaces to eat, craft, dance, and speak sorted out on Friday.
• Doors must be locked by 7pm.
 

Helper Roles to Fill:

• Closing Clean Up Crew – Super important from 6pm-7pm on Saturday.
• Kitchen Crew – There is a kitchen, but we will only be using the refrigerator, the space to store food/supplies, and keep things clean.
• Crafters – Making sure the craft table doesn’t explode with glue, paint, string and whatever else.
• Remembrance Table – setting up the table where guests can submit their memories and condolences, ensuring that the guest book does not leave this table.
• Saturday Set Up – Set tables, ensure décor is placed, and clear signage for guests to find their way in.
