Bobby Short left this world for his Heavenly home on July 10, 2019. Born on November 13, 1935 to Jessie and Jimmie Short.  Bobby was raised in Columbus Georgia..and was a proud graduate of Jordan High School. 

Bobby recently lived in Atlanta Ga and worked for The Atlanta Constitution. 

He was a very simple man that lived a simple life.  His pleasure was playing his guitar and recording videos for himself and others who enjoyed hearing him play. 

Bobbie is survived by his brother Marion Joseph Short of Texas. He is pre-deceased by his parents and sisters Betty Jean Short Hilliard and Mildred Cassie Short.  He did not have children of his own but had several nieces and nephews that loved him. 

His cremated remains are buried at Patrick Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia .
