Bobby Jay Sherrard passed from this life on April 9, 2026, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, with family by his side.
Jay was born on August 28, 1940, in Odessa, Texas, to Bob and Elnora Sherrard. He was their only child. The family later moved to Andrews, where Jay spent his formative years. A natural athlete, he developed a lifelong love of sports, participating in football, baseball, and basketball. He graduated from Andrews High …
