Bobby's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bobby Roten on January 27, 2024. Born on August 3, 1951, Bobby lived a full life characterized by kindness, generosity, and a wit that could light up any room.

Bobby is survived by his loving children, Rodney Roten, Ryan Roten, and Rachael Arnold. He was a cherished father-in-law to Leslie Roten, Vanessa Roten, and Freddie Arnold. His legacy lives on in his adoring grandchildren Samantha, Avery, Brendon, Jacob, Sophia, Gabriella, Alexandria, and Isaac Roten, all of whom brought him immense joy.

Family was the epicenter of Bobby's world. He thrived in the simple yet profound pleasures of family gatherings - birthdays, reunions, impromptu get-togethers, and above all, the "Big Christmas", which held a special place in his heart. These occasions were treasured times of bonding, laughter, and love.

His favorite pastimes included playing 42 and Chicken Foot. With a song in his heart, Bobby was a fan of Bing Crosby, Patsy Cline, and Willie Nelson, his love for music being as timeless as the tunes he cherished.

A memorial service in honor of Bobby will be held on March 2, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Crossroads Christian Church. We invite you to join us as we pay our respects and celebrate the life of a man who touched many with his witty humor and generous spirit.

His laughter and light will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to have known him. As we bid our farewell to Bobby, we hold his memory close, cherishing the love and laughter he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Bobby.
