Bobby was a good man. He was inquisitive and bold, and a fellow believer in Christ. This world was a better place with Bobby in it and I know I was positively influenced by his unwavering testimony of his faith. My sincere condolences to his family as I know you will really miss him. My prayer is for healing and to remember the great times you had with Bobby.

In Christ,

David Dodd

Sending my sincere condolences to Susan and the family. What a lovely tribute to his life.
I am so heartbroken to learn of this loss. I truly treasure the time we worked together and getting to know him and his family. He was a wonderful person, family man and friend.
Bobby was a genuine person.  I knew him from my banking career and  when he was CFO with Cantera.  He always loved Jesus and it showed.  I looked up to him  and when he quit the corporate life for ministry I totally respected him for that.   He was amazing.
So sorry for your loss.  Praying for your family during this difficult time. We love you all.

Bobby and a few men from his Refuge 2024 retreat/trip.
Jason (my husband) and I grew up under Bobby's leadership at ORBC in the early 1990s.  I will always remember a mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley where I was Bobby's co-pilot in a 15 passenger van .  Throughout the long drive, and our week of service, he pushed me to explain why I believed what I believed.  His heart for Christ has had a profound impact on my life! - Jennifer (Young) Collins

I’ll never forget Mr. Robert's and his heart for the Lord and students at CFBC. He led well and was so deeply involved in our community. He even took the time out of his busy schedule to go step by step through the book of Romans with me, my brother and a few others. Little did he know I took so many of those lessons from our time together and gained so much respect for the man he was. I truly have no words and heaven has gained an amazing man that will be so dearly missed. I know God works in mysterious ways but that still doesn’t make this easy. Me and the entire Hudson family are praying for peace for the Roberts family during this time.
I am very grateful to have met Bobby just over a year ago. It was truly great to see him once a week at a men’s group/Bible study that was formed out of the trip we met on. He left a mark on all of us in that group. All of us knew how much he loved the Lord, his wife and daughters and their families and the church.
Sean and I are praying for your entire family in this moment of terrible sadness.  May the Lord uphold you with HIS mighty right hand, and sustain you in the days ahead.   Sending much love and condolences.
Thankful to have known Bobby and to be able to be friends with him. He was a great man who was ultimately focused on making Jesus known as his Lord and Savior. - Adam Roberts
Back in 1991(I was 15) my new next door neighbor, Bobby, decided to join me shooting hoops in my driveway. I thought it was a little strange at the time, but I later realized that his intent wasn’t necessarily to play basketball, but rather something much more important. He invited me to a church basketball league (at ORBC) and a few weeks later I was presented with the Gospel message for the first time. I gave my life to Christ shortly after! I was blessed to have the best neighbors you could ask for with Bobby and Susan. Bobby’s impact on my life changed my permanent residency, and  I am so grateful to be a part of his journey. I often remind myself to be like Bobby, be intentional, and share the powerful Gospel message as often as possible!
I have great memories working with Bobby & Susan on Mission Trips, teaching youth, Disciple Now and Freedom Weekends activities. I’m so glad we were able to share Bobby with Florida and Tennessee. What a great man of God, Husband and Father to all he met and shared life/Christ with.
Prayer with Bobby every Tuesday morning while he was on staff at Bell Shoals in Brandon was so special.  A spiritual giant and selfless servant of our Lord.  Heaven is blessed.
