Background
If you knew Bobby, you knew that he was a man of radical generosity and a missional spirit. He cared deeply for the needs of others and never held back from giving at great cost to himself. He firmly believed that his life and resources were meant to be invested not in earthly wealth but in the Kingdom of God.
We, his wife and daughters, have decided to create a memorial fund in lieu of flowers because we know that it would honor him deeply for his death to bring investment in the mission of God.
We have chosen three recipients of this fund that we know were deeply important to Bobby. We will divide all money donated and give to these three causes.
1. Scholarship fund for youth and adult mission trips through Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
Bobby was passionate about missions. He has gone on many mission trips throughout his life and believed firmly in following the Great Commission and teaching others to do the same. We know that helping fund others going on mission trips through Bobbys church, Hermitage Hills would deeply honor him.
2. Trinity Christian Chapel Missions Fund
Right before Bobby’s passing, his son in law Tim accepted the Lead Pastor position at Trinity Christian Chapel (TCC) in Sewell, New Jersey. Because of Bobby’s love for the local church and desire to support Tim and Sydney’s ministry, he would be honored for a missions fund to be set-up at TCC to further their mission locally and globally of bringing all of Jesus to all people. This fund will go directly to providing scholarships for men, women, and youth to go out on mission.
3. Metanoia Ukraine
This is a ministry doing incredible work to bring the Gospel to the people of Ukraine. Bobbys Church partners with Metanoia Ukraine and he was deeply invested and burdened for this ministry at the time of his passing. To honor him, we would love to be able to give to this ministry in his honor. Contribute
