Bobby's obituary
Bobby Dwayne Garner, aged 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on October 3, 2024. Born on November 30, 1941, Bob dedicated over five decades to the logging industry, working with various logging operations across the region.
An avid outdoorsman, Bob cherished the time he spent hunting and fishing, embracing the natural beauty that surrounded him. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his love for his family.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Anita Garner of Hot Springs, AR, and his stepsons, Tim (Kristen) Darnell of Conway, AR, Bart (Claire) Darnell of Riverside, CA, and Adam (Andrea) Darnell of Jacksonville, AR. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Wright of Hope, AR, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daward and Gladys Garner; his siblings, Reford Garner and Nancy Bonner; his brother-in-law, Floyd Wright; and his nieces and nephews, Diane Garner, Dennis Buckley, Donnie Buckley, Ralph Buckley, Judy Arnold, and Paul Beckcom; and his grandson Andy Vaughn.
A memorial service to honor Bob's life will be held on November 2nd, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Pisgah Cemetery near Delight, Arkansas. Following the service, a gathering will take place at Glenwood Fish Nest Restaurant at 5:00 pm, where friends and family are invited to share stories and celebrate Bob's life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Parkinson Foundation, honoring his legacy and supporting a cause important to him and his family.
