Bobby's obituary
It is with great sadness and joy that we announce the passing of Bobby Ray Arrington, a husband, father and brother, who passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025.
Born on July 8th, 1957 in Del Rio, Texas to the late Billie and Lucy Arrington. The oldest of three children in a military family, he spent his early years living in Newfoundland, El Paso, Las Vegas and Alaska before settling in Victoria.
Preceded in death by his sister Anne Huber, Bobby is survived by his wife Juanita Ruiz Arrington, and two children; eldest daughter Lisa, and son Eli Arrington, grandson Orson Lewis Arrington, and sister Alice Ann Arrington, as well as niece and nephew Jacqueline and Jason Huber.
Working for Luby's he met his wife Juanita, and for the next 50 years, they never left each other's side. A loving husband and father, a reserved but kind man with a wonderful sense of humor, his abundant love to his family was unmatched.
He was always committed to his work; a butcher for 30 years, he built the family home by hand, and was meticulous in his upkeep as a groundskeeper for VISD.
Bobby faced difficulties in his life with a steady pace and patience, dedicated to living God's way of life.
The family will hold a small, private remembrance. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center of Compassion.
