Bobbi Jo's obituary
Bobbi Jo Short, a bright beacon of life and love, born on July 10, 2007, was tragically taken from us far too soon. Although she passed away when struck by a vehicle on January 1, 2026, her time of death wasn't officially called until January 3rd. Her spunky, outgoing personality made her a favorite in any gathering. She was not just the life of the party; Bobbi Jo was the heart of it. She put other's feelings before her own and would give anyone the shirt off her back if needed, even if it was all she had. Bobbi Jo had a love for Jesus and said she wished to spend eternity in Heaven some day. She wore her heart on her sleeve and when she loved, she loved hard and generously, taking everything to heart.
Bobbi Jo's philosophy of life was as rich as her personality. She taught everyone around her to live life to the fullest and be true to yourself without apology. She held a profound belief that beautiful things are never perfect, reminding us to savour the imperfections that make life and its moments genuinely unique. Her compassion was boundless, and she believed in not judging others, reminding us all that we may never truly know the battles others are fighting. Her lessons will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her beloved Mother, Amanda, Father Bobby, siblings Chloe, Chad, Chelsea, Corey, Dylan and Tyler, her nieces Amaya and Amelia, nephews Christian, Judah, Benny and Roman, Grandmother Tina and Mamaw Debbie, as well as her Grandfather Billy Belew. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Martha Belew and Sally Ingalls. Those touched by Bobbi Jo will forever feel her absence but also cherish the memories they shared. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of support and love they received during this challenging time.

May we all remember her by following the lessons she left behind - to live fully, love deeply, and judge less. Her light may have been extinguished too soon, yet the glow of her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
