I will always remember Bob for his kindness and generosity.  Every time I’m in Maui I always think of him when I turn at the lava wall.  He will be forever in me and Joe’s heart.   Rest easy dear one
Happy Birthday to Bob. His spirit lives forever in my heart. Rest easy old friend.
I was most fortunate to have volunteered with PWF off and on for 6-7 yrs. I had shifts at Ulua Beach and also on a few whale watches out of Lahaina. Bob took me under his wing and showed me the ropes of setting up brochures and talking to the tourists ...he encouraged me to learn and to take the volunteer courses with PWF. He was a good friend, a great mentor and always a person of impeccable integrity. He was unflappable and ready to lend a hand with everything. He adored his bride, his life and he knew that he was a very lucky guy. Bob, we were the lucky ones to have known and loved you! I will miss you my friend and I will look up Kelly as soon as I am back on island. Love and miss you Kelly, and I thank you for being such an inspiration.

I grew up with Bob in Pittsburgh. I stayed in touch even after he moved to CA in our last year of elementary school. I last saw him in the summer of 1970 when he came to visit his grandparents. He was a great guy and I am saddened to read about his passing. My sympathy to the family.

Where do I start about my friend BobUlua? I called him that because he once volunteered at Ulua Beach in Wailea. He would talk with tourists & locals about protecting the reef & ocean environment. He was so kind and respectful to anyone he met. I would always write "BOB ROCKS" in his guest log book every time I would dive Ulua Bay. It was awesome visiting BobUlua on that beach. Off & on, I lived with Bob & Kelly during my decade on Maui. We created a special bond. I will always cherish the memories we created over the years. From countless times finding secret Hana waterfalls to having to endure American Idol nights with all the ladies! (Hell, that wasn't so bad! 😆). I cherish all the family meals we had together & making Bob liverworst & onion sandwiches with extra mustard on our, "day's off" 😁 while watching re-runs of the Waltons & the Rifleman on TV. You will always have a special place in my heart my friend BobUlua. He was a Hānai father to me & to many others. Kelly & Bob have that kind of non-judgmental love for everyone. I am so grateful that Bob was in my life and made me feel loved & supported while living in Maui. I will miss my Maui Pops dearly. 😔 Bob's love & light & the impact he has made to each and every one of us who knew him will live on forever in our hearts. 😌 🤙 A hui hou mākou!
I’m so sorry for your loss Kelly. It was so awesome knowing Bob! I wish we could attend Bob’s services and give you a hug in person ❤️ Much love, Jim and Nancy

Every time I read something that someone says about Bob...I think that there’s nothing more I can say
This world was a better place with Bob.
I was blessed to call him my friend
Thank you, Bobby, for your love.

We are lifting Kelly in love, at this time...and always.

Ann & Michael Evans.
What an amazing person, you and Bob treated my baby Rae like she was your own, she would always talk about how amazing Bob was, fly with the angels Bob and watch over Kelly, keep her safe healthy and strong.❤️❤️❤️
One of the kindest humans! Another angle is in our stars now.
