So sorry to hear of Bob‘s passing. Bob made a huge impact on my life. I was running a saw at Alpana Aluminum products in the mid 80s and Bob tapped me on my shoulder and said shut it down, would you like to come draw Parts for us. I often think what I’d be doing now without Bob’s intervention. We worked on many different projects. He was an amazing person.

I feel blessed to have known the Unruh family for some time now. Kristy and I worked together in Mn, and a friendship was forged. One of my first memories is of a dinner invitation at their home with my boys. Bob asked my kids what kind of pancakes they wanted! He made chocolate chip pancakes for them, making 3 little boys very happy. There were many instances like this over the years.

Kristy, Kloe and Austin, I am so very sorry for your loss of not only a partner and dad but a wonderful human being. I hope you all find peace.

Rest in peace Bob.

Chris Lofgren

I woke up this morning to the news that Bob passed away, and my heart is so heavy. I instantly replayed the memory of meeting him for the first time, a kind stranger in the park.

Then I met his beautiful Kristy.

Some couples leave an imprint on your life just by being who they are, and Bob and Kristy—you are that couple for me. Extraordinary. Genuine. Rare.

Kristy, you have poured wisdom into me, loved on me, and seen me in ways I will never forget. And Bob… a good man in a way that feels almost sacred to say out loud.

Losing your person is a pain words can’t hold, but please know this, your love is seen, it is honored, and it is unforgettable.

I am here. Always. Whatever you need, I will come.

I love you deeply.
