Our dad, Bob, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 3, 2022. While we are are still coming to terms that this is really happening, we know he will be missed deeply by both family and friends.
He was always ready with a joke for everyone he met or a funny story or two (maybe one we’ve all heard once or twice before). He’d enjoy a regular Coke on the rocks, as he would say, at every visit even though he was ‘trying to cut back’ on sugar and soda. Dad loved the stage, hosting and producing his comedy shows, and just making people laugh. And by people, I mean anyone! It brought him so much joy. His Harleys kept him busy in the garage, and riding with friends was a favorite past time. Dad also loved living near the golf course and walking there with his dog Max, his loving and loyal companion. More than that, Dad loved us girls (Nicole, Kelly, Michelle) , his sons-in-law (Paul, Louis, Jeremy), and his three grandchildren (Ruby, Leo, and Isla) dearly. In fact, on my phone last call with him, Dad made sure to tell me how proud he is of ‘us kids’ and was hoping to plan a visit soon. He ended all his calls with us that way.
Thank you for your kindness and heartfelt comments about our dad. We know he will be missed by us all.
