I knew Bob from our time in Little League, and from our kids at school.  In Little League, he was a strong competitor, but very generous in the time he gave to all of the players to try to make them better.  Mission Bay Little League was very lucky to have him for so many years.  As a 'girl president', I talked to him and sought his counsel frequently - Bob was a man of integrity and very wise...he was missed when he moved on to his next chapter, and I'm sure that he was equally valued there.    Bob loved his kids dearly and would do anything for them.  Chrissy, I'm so glad he ended up near you - you and your grandchildren were the best medicine!

Bob was a teacher and motivator .  He helped so many young boys and girls  on and off the field.  He was always there for the kids.  We all learned from his  teachings.  I had the pleasure to spend time with Bob fishing in Mexico and on the ball field. Good memories.  RIP Bob
Bob was a gem of a man! I loved reading his posts! His humor and perspective was refreshing and always relatable... he helped my husband in his early san diego days. So blessed for his influence and friendship! 🙏
