Background
I never thought I’d be writing something like this. My children’s father recently took his own life, and our world has been turned upside down. He was more than just “someone who passed” — he was a father who loved his kids deeply, someone who made them laugh, taught them little lessons about life, and wanted more than anything to see them happy.
He was also human — someone who struggled quietly and carried more pain than anyone realized. Now he’s gone, and I’m left trying to guide our kids through heartbreak I can’t fix.
We live in a small town with very few resources, and I’ve reached out everywhere I could for help. There’s nothing available to cover his funeral expenses or to help care for the children who are now left without their dad.
Why I Created This Fundraiser
I created this GoFundMe because I don’t know where else to turn. I just want to give him a proper farewell, with the dignity and love he deserves, and make sure his children have some stability in the weeks and months ahead.
How the Funds Will Be Used
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
• Funeral costs so we can lay him to rest with love and respect
• Basic needs for his children — food, clothing, school supplies, and daily living expenses
• Grief counseling and emotional support to help the kids cope with this unimaginable loss
I know the internet can be full of scams, but this is real. I am more than willing to provide proof of our situation to anyone who asks. I’m just a heartbroken mom doing everything I can to keep my children afloat during the hardest time of their lives.
