In Loving Memory of Blake Raymond Poston

Blake Raymond Poston, 72, passed away on July 9, 2025, at his home in Ontario, Oregon. He was born on March 9, 1953, in Ontario, and lived a life full of heart, music, and family.

Blake grew up in Weiser, Idaho, until he was a young man, at which point he pursued his dream of playing music. He traveled all over the United States performing and sharing his love of music. Over the years, he lived in both Idaho and Washington, eventually settling in Ontario, Oregon, where he took a job at Heinz and worked until retirement. Though his work was steady, music remained his lifelong passion. A gifted performer, he loved to sing and play the piano, sharing his talent generously with those around him. He found joy in creativity, connection, and being a father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orven and Orliene Poston, and his brother Terry. He is survived by his siblings Randy and Debbie; his fiancée Kathy; his children Janus, Damon, Blake, Breanna, Danielle, Brittany, Bren, Devin, and Dax; and many grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

A memorial service to celebrate Blake’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Youth Lodge at Kiwanis Park, 400 S 6th Street, Payette, Idaho 83661.
