Blair's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Blair Shawn Thomas on December 14, 2023. Born on October 7, 1962, Blair left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Her straightforward, outgoing, witty, and sarcastic personality, combined with her caring, loving, and giving spirit, will be greatly missed. Blair stood out as a beacon of strength and resilience, teaching all around her one of her best lessons - Don't take no sh!t. Her legacy is one of generosity, kindness, and undying love for her family.
Blair is survived by her daughters, Christine Cowart and Johnna Goucher, and her granddaughters, Paige Cowart, Paiten Cowart, and Reese Shumate. She also leaves behind her sister, Toni (Randy) Fitch, her brother, Mike Peredetto, and her sister, Bonnie (Mark) Hostetter. She was predeceased by her father, Louis Peredetto, her mother, Edith “Edie” Peredetto, her sister, Rochelle Lovin, and her brother, Louis George Peredetto.
Blair had a taste for all kinds of food, be it Italian, Mexican cuisine, chocolate-covered raisins, or peach yogurt. She enjoyed shots of Jose Cuervo, a refreshing Ginger Ale, or indulging in a White Chocolate Mocha or Kevita. She had an eclectic taste in music, and was a fan of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Five Finger Death Punch, and Blondie among others. Her favorite TV shows were anything on BRAVO, and she enjoyed a variety of films, with Braveheart, True Romance, and Legends of the Fall being some of her favorites. An avid supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners and never missed a football game.
She had a deep compassion for animals. This love of the color green and animals was a testament to her caring and nurturing nature. One of Blair's greatest accomplishments, and one that she was incredibly proud of, was raising her daughters and granddaughters.
