Billy (Bill) Eugene Wood,90 of Jacksonville, Arkansas went home to be with Jesus on July 5, 2023. He was born October 13, 1932, to Felix Wood and Myrtle Roberts (Wood). He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy, his time in the navy lead him to a distinguished Career at the North Island Naval Airbase machine shop. Bill married the love of his life Charlotte on June 30, 1951 and together they raised three children and built a life firmly founded on the word of Jesus Christ. God called him into the ministry in 1962, after returning to Arkansas he pastored The Church of the Apostolic Faith and has dedicated his life to growing the Kingdom of God. Bill had a 30 year career with the US Postal Service were he established many friendships and was able to share his love of the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory his three children Charles Wood (Joetta)of Paron, Cheryl Schoeneweis of Jacksonville, and Pamela Martin of NLR. Five Grandchildren Dawn Null(Darrell), Christy Martin, Amber Tilghman(Jim), Andrea(Terry), and Daniel(Debra). Five Great Grandchildren John, Shyanne, Christian, Jayden and Alex and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that Love him and will miss him always. He was proceeded in death by loving wife of 67 Years Charlotte Wood(Hinson), his parents and all of his siblings. The celebration of life service will be held at Scott UPC 14900 US-165, Scott AR 72142 on July 10,2023 at 10:30am
