Surfer, Skiier, Best Ever in our Hearts. 

With profound sorrow, we commemorate the life of Mr. Billy Slattery who passed away suddenly on April 29, 2025. He was a Husband, Son, Father, Brother, Uncle. Suddenly lost his life April 29th due to Cardiac Arrest in Hailey, Idaho. Born on September 28, 1965 in LaJolla, CA and then moved and grew up in Pacific Palisades, CA  where he always made long lasting friendships.  Billy enriched the lives of those around him with his kindness, integrity, and his contagious love of life. An expert surfer, skiier and an extraordinary man whose influence far exceeds his years, he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He has an older sister Beck Donahue who is married to Peter Donahue and they have a daughter Devon Donahue. Billy has a younger brother Ted Slattery and his loving parents Mary Alice Slattery and William J Slattery. His 3 adult daughters, Tatum, Lacey and was starting a blended family with his 6 step-children, Kayla, Ashley, AJ, Lily, Noah and Greg. He also had two step grand children Ellie and Ana. 

Billy dated Monique at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA for 3 years. He then went to University of Boulder, Colorado to finish his degree.  He  Remet later the love of his life Monique. 11 yrs after the divorce of his first wife, Nancy. 

Billy and Monique were married in Ketchum, Idaho on Feb 7, 2025 and also lived in Ketchum, Idaho to start their lives together. Billy loved the mountains and was working at Sun Valley mountain in Ketchum, ID. It was his dream come true. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Monique Slattery. Billy's enduring spirit, love, and memory will remain in her heart forever. While his physical presence is no more, his impact on those he cherished will never fade. Rest in peace, Billy Slattery.
