He went on to continue his education at Yuba Community College before earning his bachelor’s degree in communication design at California State University, Chico in the spring of 2007.

Billy was also a published political cartoonist in the local paper, the Appeal Democrat, where he artistically challenged big government ideas.

In his last year of life, Billy successfully tried his hand at a new career, embarking into solar sales with V3. It was long and hard work but Billy enjoyed the company energy and camaraderie.

Billy was outgoing, friendly, and full of random trivia. He loved playing practical jokes. He loved music and his home was often filled with the strumming of his favorite acoustic guitar. He was passionate about 2nd amendment rights. He was a lifelong 49ers fan.

He loved to perform and was a part of a couple different local bands, including his founding band, Fetch. He was known to organize an annual Super Bowl Sunday flag football game with his favorite cousin Josh.
