Bj's obituary

Billy "Bj" Morgan, known affectionately as Bj, was born on September 23, 1987, and departed from this world on January 24, 2021. A loving son, brother, and friend, Bj's vibrant personality and warm heart left an indelible impact on all who knew him. He is survived by his loving mother, Nicole Adams, his brother Roscoe Moore, his sister Nikya Bryant, his brother Kobe Bryant, his sister Cierra Morgan, and his brother Dean Morgan.

Having graduated from Moreno Valley High School on Cottonwood Avenue in Moreno Valley, CA, in 2004, Bj dedicated himself to a career centered around the blues of his hardworking spirit. In 2006, he attended Barber School and then transitioned to the truck driving industry. Following his passion, he attended Truck Driving School in 2008 and ventured into multiple stints in the field - driving dairy trucks in 2017, driving trucks in oil fields in 2009, cross-country truck driving in 2010, and local truck driving from 2018. He returned to his family and roots in Los Angeles in 2018 and dedicated a portion of his time to caregiving for his cherished Grandmother Sugamomma from 2019.

Bj's love for life was evident in his diverse interests and preferences. A connoisseur of pizza and macaroni and cheese, Bj also had a penchant for self-help and entrepreneurial books. His musical preference was rooted in R & B Oldies, while his favorite TV shows included The Wire, Power, Raising Kanan & BMF, and his treasured movies being Godfather, Boy n the Hood, Imitation of Life. He admired urban art, enjoyed watching music concerts, and was a staunch supporter of the Dallas Cowboys & Los Angeles Lakers.

Known for his love for riding horses, cutting hair, and spending quality time with friends and family, Bj's idea of recreation went beyond conventional norms. He held Arizona and Texas dear as vacation spots and favored local spots, including the barbershop, Mr. Fries, and various pizza joints. The color blue held a special place in his heart, mirroring his personality that was often described as very polite, helpful, loved everyone, mentoring, and centered around family unity.

The legacy Bj leaves behind is deeply rooted in the values he held dear - his kind, generous heart, his zest for life, and his enduring dream for family wealth and entrepreneurship. The memory of his beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and comforting hugs will continue to bring warmth to our hearts. His vibrancy will continue to be celebrated, and his absence deeply felt.
