Billy's obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Billy Paul Marks Jr. on November 9, 2024. Born on September 11, 1986, Paul was a man of great spirit with a vibrant personality. He could make anyone laugh with his upbeat, positive personality. Though known affectionately as 'My pookiepoo', he preferred to be called Paul by his family and friends. Coworkers usually knew him as Billy.
Paul was a skillful, talented Jack of all trades. From being an electrician, to professional paint and body work on vehicles - He could do it, no matter what it was.
He would help anyone with anything at anytime of the day or night. He loved to help others. Countless times he has jumped right up and left immediately to help a friend that called. It was in his nature to be the one person you could count on at the end of the day. That's just the good man he was.
His daughters (Alivia and Brooke Marks) were his whole world. They were the light of his life and he loved them more than anything. They were daddies girls and he would have given them the world. He spent every minute he could with them and was so proud of the smart young ladies they are becoming. They were his heart.
If he wasn't with his girls or working hard, fishing was his #1 hobby. He loved to head out on the boat for a peaceful day while reeling in dinner. He would always talk about how bad he wanted a full day of silence with his fishing pole. How bad I wish he would have gotten that opportunity one more time.
His light and love will be forever remembered by his surviving wife who he held close to his heart and loved beyond words, Jennifer Underwood Marks, his two daughters Brooke and Alivia Marks, his mother and father Karen Marks and Billy Paul Marks SR, his brother Dillon Marks and sister Brandy Marks. His mother and father in-law, Linda and Bill Brackman, and Jerry Underwood considered Paul as a son of their own. They cared tremendously about him and were there to provide comfort until the end. They will always cherish him in their hearts.
He was blessed to have two long-time best friends John Regini and wife Kristie Regini, who he met while working together for Latter & Blum, and Joseph Teston and wife Sommer Teston, who he has known for 15-20 years. Paul spoke highly of both of them often. They were genuinely good friends who wanted the best for Paul. They were a blessing in his life. I personally would like to thank both of you for that.
I love you Paul Marks. Life doesn't feel real or right without you. I'm going to miss you so very much. The thought of it hurts. Thank you for being the most caring and gentle, sweet husband a wife could ask for. Till I see you in Heaven, I love you!
May Pauls memory continue to bring joy to all who were fortunate to know him. Moments shared with Paul will forever remain in our hearts until the end of time.
