Billy Austin Harber, 76, of North, S.C., passed away at his home on September 27th, 2024.

Born on July 30th, 1948, in Maury City, Tennessee, the youngest son of the late Beulah Esther (Riddick) and Percy Roosevelt Harber, he was raised in Brownsville, before graduating from Overton High School in Memphis, where he played football and basketball. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of Corporal. He attended Rio Hondo Junior College in Whittier, Ca., was a retired construction worker and had been a resident of Orangeburg County for over 40 years.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Harber of Jackson, Tn. and Bobby Harber of Brunswick, Ga. He is survived by one brother, Danny Harber of Bell, Ca., as well as various nieces and nephews.
