Billy's obituary
Billy was the most genuine, loving, people hardworking family man we all loved so much. Billy was born in Texas in April of 1942. Growing up with four older brothers, Billy enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid hunter, fisher, and hiker. He was very into nature and spent all of the time he could outside. At age 65, Billy even hiked Mount Everest with his son.
At 18, Billy joined the Marines to have a lengthy career. Billy was known as “Big Bill” to his fellow Marines. He was a true , red blooded American proud to defend his country.
Billy left behind his three loving children, seven grandkids, and 6 great grandkids. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Billy’s memory to the American Cancer Society. As it was Billy’s wish to be cremated, there will be no service. We will have a Private Celebration of Life On Thursday February 13th at 4:30 pm at Billy’s home in Berne, NY for family and very close friends.
