Bill's obituary

William "Bill" Michael Black
Born May 17, 1960 and gone too soon on June 4, 2023.
Bill was adopted at a young age by Claude and Merle Black. He was their only child.
He grew up in Cold Springs, KY, graduating from Campbell County High School in 1979.
During these years, Bill worked at Riverfront Stadium, Pinkerton Security Company as a Guard, and was a Wilder County Volunteer Firefighter for a short time.
He met his lifelong partner and bride, Renee Hein, at an ELO concert and it was love at first sight. They married a year later in 1983 at Pilgrim United Church in Cincinnati.
They honeymooned in Florida and decided to stay and create a life here. His first job in the sunshine state was at the Brown Derby as a bus boy. His next and final job was with the City of Pinellas Park. He served his community for 21 years and was able to retire at the age of 48.
Bill and Renee certainly had their adventures; their daughter Tamara was certainly the most exciting. Tamara was Bill's "Pooh Bear" and the two are much more alike than they'd ever admit. In 2016, Skyelyn was born and made Bill a "Papaw". She loved having him chauffeur her around and spending time at the park together.
Bill was a blessed man who touched many hearts and lives. His smile was genuine and his hugs were big. We will miss him dearly and look forward to seeing him again.
