Miss Annie, I still think of you and Bilal often. I lost my daughter about a month ago. It's the toughest thing I've ever been through. I pray you are holding up. God bless you. Feel free to call me anytime. Charlotte Jennings
My prayers are that his soul has reached the highest heavens and that he is welcomed with open arms into the paradise of eternal living. My fondest memories of when we were children having the responsibility of my nephew. He was such a sweet soul and we will all miss him. I pray for ease and comfort for his children and the rest of the family. May our prayers lift his soul higher.
Bilal was not merely a co-worker, he was my friend, and I would even say family. We worked closely together on several projects, were on the same team, and he mentored me in Agile. Bilal had so many talents...too many to mention them all, but his talent for connecting with people and caring for them right where they were at was one of his greatest talents. He had an excellent work ethic. In spite of health struggles, he worked, in spite of life struggles, he worked, in spite of anything life threw him, he worked. He had diligence, fight, and determination. He loved living and life. To his children, please forgive any mistakes he made. Look to all he gave you as an example of how to be. Take those and enrich your own life. There was so much to be proud of and hold on to. I hope those things bring you much comfort during this time. Remember parents are people who are imperfect beings. I would want my children and grand children to remember that. May the God of comfort, peace and joy bring you all these during this time.
Many prayers and thoughts for you, Charlotte Jennings
I worked on a project with Bilal and became acquainted over many conference calls to the UK and my travel to New York and Charlotte. We shared a love of good music and food and conversation and ethics and I had hoped we would meet again as we talked of aligning travel plans to Europe. The news of his passing saddens me deeply and I would like to send my condolences to his family and friends. Bilal was a generous Man with a beautiful soul. A kindred spirit, may he rest in peace and be sustained forever in the love of our hearts.
I had a chance to work with Bilal for a short time. I enjoyed his stories, humor and intuitiveness. I still find myself repeating his stories from time to time. I'm saddened by this news and sending healing prayers to the family. Love Val
