Bijan didn't have to yearn to be close to us and our newborn child. Truth be known, we aren't even related by blood, but we were not related second-hand to Bijan; we were 100% family. He couldn't wait for the birth of our daughter Kiana. Weeks from the womb, he was there with love, gifts and that loving smile that I will never forget. Kiana felt his love and to this day, she talks about her Amu Bijan, as do we. We miss him dearly.
