Bich Phuong's obituary
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunty, Bich Phuong "Fooey" Nguyen, who passed away on July 5th, 2024. Phuong unexpectedly passed away due to health complications. We will all miss her more than words can express.
Phuong was born in Saigon, Vietnam on February 27, 1987, where she was raised by her parents, Thep Tran and Loan Nguyen. At the age of 2, she migrated to Federal Way, WA, where she spent the remainder of her life. She graduated from Federal Way High School with high honors and then went on to continue her career in the banking industry for 20 years, with her being able to work from home and raise her daughter. During her time with us, Phuong was incredibly close to her family and friends and always supported anyone in need at all times.
Phuong met her husband Michael Le in early 2007 through mutual friends, then went on to spend 15 years together before marrying in 2022. Her legacy lives on through Michael and their daughter, Mia Le, who just turned 1 year old a few days before her passing. They spent a year experiencing the joys of parenthood together with unconditional love. Above all else, being a mother to Mia was her true passion and gift. Her nurturing spirit and dedication to her family will be missed and cherished forever.
In honor of Phuong's memory and the profound impact she left on all of us, any gifts and monetary donations received will go towards supporting Mia's future. Your generous and thoughtful contributions will help ensure that Mia has every opportunity to grow and thrive, surrounded by the love and support of those who cherished Phuong. Despite the heartbreaking absence of her mother, we are committed to ensuring that Mia feels the warmth of Phuong's legacy in every step she takes alongside her father, Michael. Phuong's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will continue to guide Mia and all who knew her.
