Beverly's obituary

Beverly Wilkerson Roberts, 68,
passed away on January 5th, 2021 in her Durham, NC home in the embrace of family.

Beverly was a beautiful, brave, smart, funny, strong, independent, woman who always landed on her feet. She loved the beach, Starbucks, yard sales, reading, decorating, “retail therapy” (shopping), and watching “The Incredible Dr. Pol”. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and her loss creates a void that can never be filled. Quite simply, she was one of a kind and irreplaceable.

Beverly was born on December 3rd, 1952 in Henderson, NC to the late Jackie Reginald Wilkerson, former chief of police in Roxboro, NC and the late Joan Overton Wilkerson. She graduated in 1971 from Person Senior High School in Roxboro, NC. During her professional career she worked mostly in sales and is a former employee of the Herald Sun.

Beverly is survived by her son Rodney Roberts II, her daughter Meghan Bevill and son-in-law Adam Bevill, her grandson Nathan Bevill, four brothers; Dana Wilkerson (wife Kathy), Jeff Wilkerson (wife Paige),
J.R. Wilkerson (wife Linda), and Mark Wilkerson (wife Cecelia), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

There are no plans for a funeral service as Beverly did not want one. Please practice random acts of kindness in remembrance of her. Perhaps buy someone a Starbucks in her memory. It would make her really happy.
