Beverly's obituary
Our beloved Beverly Thomas went home to Jesus on January 28th at the age of 68 in Roseville,CA.
Beverly was born to Harvey Olson and Elizabeth Cooke on March 23, 1953 in Sacramento,CA .
Beverly met her Husband Ed Thomas in 1978 in Fair Oaks, CA. Ed was living next door to Beverly’s Mother. They were introduced that day and have been together ever since for the past 42 years. As Ed puts it they were Soulmates and he knew that day they would go until the wheels fell off. They were married in Fair Oaks in 1979 and went on to raise their Daughter Ericka Chacon of Sacramento. Ericka gave them their best gift ever with four beautiful grandchildren Cookie, Zekey, Juni, and Lani.
Beverly loved spending time with her Grandkids or going on trips to Rockaway Beach with her husband Ed. She loved lighthouses and laughter. Anyone that spent time with Beverly would know this to be true and hopefully will remember the laughs shared with Beverly for a lifetime. Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her. Beverly and Ed attended Trinity Life Center in Sacramento CA for 35 years. Beverly was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her huge heart and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her Husband Ed Thomas, her Daughter Ericka Chacon, her grandchildren Cookie, Juni, Lani, her Brother-in-Law John Thomas that lived with her and Ed in Roseville. She was one of 12 siblings - brothers Harvey Olson, Chester Olson, Leonard Olson, Robert Cooke, and her sisters Bonita McElmury, Barbara Olson, and Sandra Givan. She will be missed greatly by many. God Bless everyone that loved Beverly.
PSALM 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
