I met Beverly in the early 1990's as the wife/life-mate of one of my greatest mentors (CARL).  I didn't know, when I met him,  that he was incredibly gifted and talented at teaching and mentoring others.  MOST EVERYTHING that I ever knew about aviation, he helped me develop....he challenged me to be better at what I loved!

After a few years of shenanigans together with him as my mentor (we hunted birds and fished together), I met the love of his life!  We had an immediate relationship as great friends.  She greeted me on every occasion as a good friend and motherly type that was willing to love me and discipline me at the same time! (I still don't know if it was because of Carl's love of me, or just her own!) 

I eventually met his son Roger and Trish (with their son) at Carl's home.  Roger and I have built, what I consider, a good healthy relationship since Carl's passing.  I pray that will last a life time.

Michele and I talked on the phone a few times just to play "brother and sister", though I didn't meet her until Beverly's 75'th or 80'th birthday party!  We met and hugged like we'd known each other forever!  (Turns out she's JUST like her mother!)  As well, I pray that she and I will remain lifelong friends.

I have been blessed by God to have known this family, and pray that blessings continue upon ALL OF YOU as we continue................Kevin Losey
