Beverly's obituary
Beverly Saylor, a woman of endearing warmth and love, entered eternal rest on October 11, 2025. Born on the 24th of July, 1958, Beverly's life was characterized by her unyielding devotion to her family. She is survived and will be deeply missed by a host of cherished family members.
Beverly was the beloved mother of Stephanie Piotrowski and Natalie Girot, who will undoubtedly carry their mother's legacy in their hearts. Her sons-in-law, Michael Piotrowski and Stephen Girot, will remember her with fondness and respect. Her joy multiplied when she became a grandmother to Logan Girot, Ryliegh Girot, Leah Piotrowski and Michael Piotrowski Jr., who brought immeasurable happiness and pride to her life.
She leaves behind her father, Ralph Saylor, her siblings; Tim Saylor, Brenda Garrison, and Patricia Gallagher, as well as many nieces and nephews. In-laws Dwight Garrison and Meara Saylor also mourn her loss. Beverly was predeceased by her loving mother, Pauline Saylor, and her sister, Judy Juknuis. Yet, their memories remained a comforting presence in her life.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Beverly Saylor will be held on November 29, 2025, at 10am at St. Jude's Church. Attendees are invited to share memories and stories in honor of Beverly's rich and fulfilling life.
Beverly's favorite foods paralleled her straightforward and down-to-earth personality; she took pleasure in the simple delights of a McDonald's Big Mac, French Fries, Pizza, Chocolate, and Ice Cream. Her preferred beverages were Diet Pepsi and an occasional Pina Colada, the latter serving as a treat during leisure moments.
She found solace and entertainment in TV shows such as General Hospital, Dancing with the Stars, Wheel of Fortune, Live with Kelly & Mark, America's Funniest Videos, and Too Cute. Beverly was a fan of music from different genres, her favorites being Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, RHCP, The 1975 and Collective Soul. The melodies of these artists will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved her.
Her favorite pastime was spent in the company of her beloved family. Her fondness for movies included classics like Elvis, Bonnie & Clyde, Superman, and Jaws. Beverly was also a devoted sports enthusiast, her allegiances firmly placed with the Chicago Bears, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Fighting Illini. She was a big fan of playing the Illinois lottery and scratch off tickets.
Beverly's soul was as warm as a summer's day; loving, nurturing and radiating positivity to all those privileged to know her. Her absence will undoubtedly leave an irreplaceable void in many lives, yet her memory will continue to inspire love and togetherness in the hearts of her family and friends.
