Beverly's obituary
Born in Oakland, California in 1946, she was the daughter of Marguerite Prentice and Joseph Miller. She attended Richmond High School and was a waitress at several establishments. She was a very hard worker and a dedicated homemaker. Bev enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, classic country, camping, and her grandchildren. She loved playing Uno and winning was her norm. Bev was well versed in old-fashioned people skills; she still used her landline and knew her neighbors.
She is survived by her 4 children, LaWanda Rayfield, Tim Rackley, Tracy Rackley and Darlene Hixon, her 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her partner, Morley Sewell of Pinole, CA and her grandson, Dylan Hixon, of Nampa, ID.
It was Beverly’s wishes to be cremated. A private family memorial will be held at a later time. If you wish to contact the family, please email Beverly's grand-daughter, Veronica, at veronica.rayfield@gmail.com.
