On Saturday January 30, 2021 Beverly Mary McKeown (Bev) loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away at the age of 83. She almost made it to her 84th birthday! She was at home surrounded by family and friends and went peacefully in love and light. Beverly was born on February 23, 1937 in Cohoes, NY and was the first child born to Leo and Florence Goodness. She was the oldest of 4 siblings. She lived in various areas in upstate NY until she moved to Monterey, CA in her early 50's. She loved living near the ocean, going to Big Sur and made many life long friends. Beverly spent her career working as a Kitchen & Bath designer. She loved working with her clients creating beautiful spaces in their homes and always made the process fun. Anyone who knew Bev knew her for her infectious laughter, amazing sense of humor and unconditional love. She never met a stranger. She moved to Denver, CO in her early 60's to be with family and embraced her new home. She loved being with "young" people and was always the life of the party. Beverly is survived by her children, Tim, Colleen (Steve / Listo) Maureen (John) Mike (Bonnie) & Danny (Cathee). Her grandchildren Daniel (Christina), Sean, Lindsay (Kyle) & Olivia. She also leaves behind her brother Gary (Pat), Barbara (Paul) & Jimmy (Phyllis) along with many friends who considered her family. Beverly has left a legacy of love, laughter and never taking life too seriously. We will always remember her amazing energy and spirit. A celebration of life will be held in both Colorado & New York at a later time. Thank you to everyone who has loved and embraced us during this difficult time.
