Beverly's obituary
Beverly Everson went home to Jesus on December 10, 2023 at age 80.
Beverly was born to Leonard and Norma Vandervest on April 29, 1943 in Rhinelander. She grew up in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1961.
Beverly met her husband, Bruce Everson in 1960 at Calvary Baptist Church. They married on July 15th 1961 and went on to have 3 children, Dean, Jeff, and Robin. They lived in Rhinelander for 27 years, then moved south and spent the next 25 years working at various Christian camps. Eventually they retuned to Rhinelander to be with family. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Beverly also loved horses, helping others, spending time with family listening to her children playing music, daily devotional and spending time in the Bible . Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she freely shared with those who surrounded her.
Beverly joins husband Bruce, Parents Leonard and Norma, brothers David and Gary Vandervest in Heaven. She is survived by sisters Lynne Sutton and Debra (Kelvin) Brunette. Brothers Bruce (Jinny) and Joe (Tammy) Thompson. Sons Dean (Karmin) and Jeff (Leah) Everson. Daughter Robin (Chris) Clairmore. Grandchildren are Nicole McGeshick. Amy Guthrie. Nathan, Alex, and Mark Everson. Keziah Batten. Katelynn, Makayla, Stephanie, and Kyle Kuester. Great grandchildren are Harmony, Leonard, Dakota McGeshick. Ezra, Abella, Eliza, Gabriel, Annalise, Guthrie. Rilyn, Raylee, Rori, Reniah, Huntleigh and Tucker Everson. Violet, Stephen, Vinyette Batten. Hudson Bleck. Brooklynn and Raelynn Litvinoff. Also her very special friend Terry Urbonya.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Pine Grove Church in Rhinelander on Monday December 18th 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:00. Beverly’s memorial service will be at 12:00 with a meal and fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Gideon International.
