Beverly's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Beverly Rogers Brister. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Beverly was born on February 23, 1961, and passed away on December 15, 2023.

Beverly was a graduate of West Monroe High School in 1979, and within the same year, she embarked on her journey of matrimony and motherhood. In 2000, she embraced love again and married Dwain Brister, welcoming their blended family of beloved children, Bonnie Roberts, Stephen Paine, Dane Crenshaw, Misty Manzi, Adam Brister, and Hailey Prime.

Beverly was predeceased by her mother, Barbara McDaniel, and is survived by her siblings Vicki Driscoll ,Mark Rogers, and Julie Hyde along with her treasured in-laws, Richard Driscoll, Heather Rogers, Zachary Hyde, April Bracken-Crenshaw, Amanda Brister, Michael Roberts, and Logan Prime. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she dearly loved. She was also close to her Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

With her outgoing and adventurous spirit, Beverly loved visiting her family, fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, travelling, camping, and playing music. She had a deep affection for the New Orleans Saints, the St. Louis Cardinals, and her favorite book and film, Gone With the Wind. She poured her love and kindness into her dogs and birds, always enjoying her time in their company.

Beverly held a unique record of catching the biggest bass by a woman in D'Arbonne Lake, making it one of her greatest and most proud accomplishments. She was an active attendee of the Christian Motorcycle Association, further exemplifying her adventurous spirit.

Her life's narrative was woven with the threads of warmth, love, and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will long be remembered. Beverly's vivacious personality and zest for life will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege to know and love her.

To celebrate Beverly's life, a memorial service will be held on December 23, 2023, at 11:00AM at the Gateway Assembly. Family, friends, and those who were touched by Beverly's unwavering love and kindness are cordially invited to pay their respects and share their fond memories of her.
