Betty Jean (Madison) Reo passed away February 25, 2018. A retired weather technician with the U.S. Weather Service in Los Angeles, for two decades she was known as the voice of NOAA Weather Radio in Southern California. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Betty graduated from high school and moved to Washington, D.C., where she trained and worked during World War II as a U.S. Weather Service technician.
