Betty's obituary

Mrs. Betty Kight Page, age 83, of Lyons, died Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Lyons all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Lyons. She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” J. Page; parents, Wesley Kight and Ruby Lee Hadden Kight; and two sisters, Velma Williamson and Carol Kight.

Her family includes her five children, Jenny Page Kennedy of Cobbtown, Jay Page and wife Nikki of Marvin Community, Jeff Page and wife Laurie, and Jon Page, all of Lyons, and Jerald “Jerry” Page and wife Rebecca of Alexandria, Virginia; three sisters, Mattie Benforado of Raleigh, North Carolina, Marion Ritch and husband Verlin of Homerville and Mable Culpepper and husband Jim of Eastman; eight grandchildren, Hannah Kennedy, Rebecca Kennedy, Allison Kennedy, Brittany James, Emily Page, Tyler Page, Brooke Page and Briley Page; three great-grandchildren, Kensleigh James, Lani James and Jax James; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, January 8th, at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Mr. Wayne Kirkley officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.

The family will gather at the home of Jeff and Laurie Page, 409 Gibson Rd., Lyons, GA 30436.
